This white stoneware coffee creamer was glazed in a combination of food safe glazes, These being Southwestern Michigan slip (from Sawyer, Mi) and Royal Blue. This particular batch was glaze fired to over 2280 degrees in early February of 2021. All of my functional work is safe for the dishwasher, preheated oven and microwave. Never put handmade stoneware pottery over an open flame as the flame tip will cause microscopic exanpansion of the clay platelets within a very small area, resulting in a crack in the foot of the piece. A test-pour of this piece shows that the pour breaks clean and does not dribble down the side of the form.
